Niederwinkling, February 27, 2025. The sealing specialist from Niederwinkling has once again demonstrated its social commitment: With a joint fundraising campaign, employees collected donations in the form of sums of money and working hours as part of the traditional Christmas campaign last December. The sum was then rounded up and doubled by the management. This resulted in a total sum of 5,000 euros, which was handed over in equal parts to the KUNO Foundation and the BRK Heart’s Desire Hospice Mobile.
At the symbolic presentation of the cheque on 27 February at the company’s headquarters in Niederwinkling, Christian Wallstabe, managing partner, and the chairmen of the works councils Marco Mohr and Günter Grüll presented the donations to Christoph Aschenbrenner, branch manager of the KUNO Foundation, and Pastor Klaus Klein, co-initiator of the BRK Heart’s Desire Hospice Mobile.
Christian Wallstabe thanked the works council for organising the campaign and praised the great willingness of the employees to donate. “We are pleased that with our donation we can support two organizations that give help and hope in an impressive way. They stand by children and families in difficult life situations as well as people who have a heart’s desire fulfilled at the end of their lives,” says the managing partner.
The KUNO Foundation (Children’s University Hospital for Eastern Bavaria) uses the donation for projects that facilitate the hospitalization of children and their families. These include, for example, toys, educational support or research projects. The Heart’s Desire Hospice Mobile of the Bavarian Red Cross Lower Bavaria/Upper Palatinate uses the support to fulfill the last wishes of seriously ill people. Behind every trip is a dedicated team of volunteers who put their heart and soul into making trips to personally significant places possible.
With this fundraising campaign, the sealing specialist Wallstabe & Schneider is continuing its long-standing support of regional organisations and associations in the areas of culture, environment, social affairs, education and sport.
