We develop and produce seals that are installed in almost every car worldwide. Sophisticated industrial applications also benefit from our expertise. With around 1,100 employees, our family-owned company from Niederwinkling operates five production sites on three continents and supplies customers worldwide. Our product portfolio includes precision seals such as O-rings, profile seals and composite parts. We develop and produce the necessary elastomer compounds ourselves.

Managing Partner / CEO

Christian Wallstabe, Jürgen Wallstabe's son, worked for several years at an international US management consultancy before joining the family business in 1998. He was appointed Managing Director in 1999.

His responsibilities include sales, finance, controlling, procurement, HR, IT and strategy development.

Technical Managing Director

Kai Peters joined the management team in 2016.

He brought with him over 20 years of experience in the rubber industry.

Kai Peters is responsible for production, development, quality management and supply chain management.

The first pressing hall is put into operation

1963

The company grows rapidly and employs more than 100 people for the first time. The first trainees begin their apprenticeships.

1965

After another two years of rapid growth, the company already employs 200 people. First guest workers from Portugal.

1966

Managing Director and graduate chemist Dr. Rolf Schneider, nephew of founder Fritz Schneider, joins the company.

1967

First dispatch hall and wet drum deburring.

1968

Jürgen Wallstabe, graduate chemist and son of founder Wolf Wallstabe, joins the company as Managing Director.

1970

Change of name to Dichtungstechnik Wallstabe & Schneider GmbH & Co. KG

1973

Conversion from press to injection molding technology.

Construction of a new injection molding hall with 1200 m² of production space.
Certification of the QM system according to ISO/TS 16949.

Modernization of the rubber mixing plant.

Certification of the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001.

Construction of a further production hall.

2009

The 300th apprentice completes his apprenticeship at Wallstabe & Schneider.
