Environmental and Climate Protection
We review our carbon footprint with an annual CO2 balance sheet and regularly initiate new projects that enable us to reduce our CO2 consumption. For example, our production at our company headquarters has been almost 100 percent emissions free since 2021 thanks to green electricity (according to Scope 1 & 2, GHG Protocol).
We are committed to proactively combatting climate change and the damage to our ecosystems. Sustainable use of resources and consistent recycling of valuable materials are a matter of course for us. Our products also contribute to environmental protection through their sealing function. We regularly educate our employees on energy and environmental issues, thus creating awareness and sensitivity for these formative topics.
Social
Responsibility
Sustainable Corporate Growth
As an owner-managed family business, we are a reliable partner who cares about long-term relationships with our customers and suppliers.
The focus is on socially and environmentally sustainable growth.
Our Values
Our values ensure meaningful, successful cooperation. They make it possible to include and involve people. Wallstabe & Schneider has developed a system of values that forms the basis of our actions.
Our values are universally valid and generally binding, regardless of nationality, culture and religion, at and between all hierarchical levels in the company. This applies to internal and external relations.
Our Code of Conduct
We want to be a reliable partner for our shareholders, customers, suppliers and, of course, our employees. To achieve this, we strive for transparency, trust and cooperation. Transparency creates trust, and trust is the basis for good cooperation.
Compliance with rules and laws is a matter of course for us and an integral part of our corporate culture. Our Code of Conduct provides guidance in this regard. It applies to all people at Wallstabe & Schneider and at the same time represents an important promise to the outside world.
We also expect our suppliers and all other business partners to adhere to it. This is a prerequisite for working with Wallstabe & Schneider.
Occupational Safety
and Health
We systematically promote the health of our employees and give top priority to occupational safety in the company. Our top priority is to protect employees from work-related hazards. To this end, we do everything necessary to prevent occupational accidents and preserve the health of our employees. Extensive training courses on workplace safety, fire protection and health topics are part of our employee training program.
Social Commitment
In addition to our corporate obligations, social responsibility is paramount at Wallstabe & Schneider. We support numerous projects – mainly from the region – in the fields of culture, education, nature conservation, sports and social welfare.
