Divekar Wallstabe & Schneider Precision Seals Pvt. Ltd. is an Indo-German joint venture incorporated in 2010. It is 100 % family-owned by the enterpreneurial families Divekar, Wallstabe and Schneider. Dichtungstechnik Wallstabe & Schneider GmbH & Co. KG holds over 75 % of the shares.
The company is located in Ambivali, near Mumbai, and employs about 90 people in production and administration. Divekar Wallstabe & Schneider has more than 30 years of experience in developing and producing seals. The site is certified according to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
Production Processes
Mixing Process
Our Ambivali site has a mixing facility with a 45-liter mixer for our rubber compounds.
Manufacturing
Our core processes for manufacturing seals are injection molding and vacuum compression molding.
Secondary Processes
As secondary processes we offer cryogenic deflashing, post curing and lubrication coatings (also colored coatings).
Test Laboratory
In our laboratory we subject the finished products to various tests, e.g. hardness tests, rheological tests, tensile tests, compression set tests, aging tests in air and various other media.
