Diaphragms of a thickness greater than approx. 0.5 mm are used to create a seal between media and pressure chambers. They serve as elastically deformable partitions and allow – depending on geometry and material – volumetric changes in the pressure chamber without any slipping of the sealing surfaces. Diaphragms are used in pumps, control units, operating units and dosage units.
Diaphragms cannot be developed without extensive analysis of the application conditions. By providing application-specific diaphragm design, we offer the following advantages:
